This page preserves the proposed visual picker, badge alerts, and AI-summary workflow. Its account connection and server-side monitoring backend are not active in the concept-site preview.
The old install-to-account path is intentionally disabled.
What the extension does
One-click monitoring
The proposed flow starts from the current public webpage and prepares it for a monitoring schedule without retyping the URL.
Visual CSS picker
Instead of writing CSS selectors by hand, click on the element you want to track. The extension figures out the selector and narrows the monitor to just that region.
Badge alerts
The intended badge would surface a change count and open an AI summary in the popup.
Keyword filters
The design lets a user select a phrase and define a focused alert condition.
How it works together
Extension concept prepares a URL and selected page region for the proposed workflow.
Archived backend design would run scheduled checks. It is not active on this preview.
Alert concept shows how channels could be selected per monitor.
Extension FAQ
Do I need a Zikit account to use the extension?
The original prototype required a Zikit account. Registration and the account backend are now closed, so this workflow is preserved as a product concept only.
Does the extension work without the dashboard?
No. The prototype depended on the archived Zikit account and monitoring backend. The concept page does not claim that monitoring continues after the browser closes.
What permissions does the extension ask for?
Access to the current page (so it can read the URL and show the picker), storage (to remember your sign-in), and alarms (for badge updates). It never reads pages in the background.
Is the extension free?
There is no active account or plan checkout. Any old plan references are historical product-design material.
Is it open source?
The preserved website describes the prototype but does not publish or operate its archived backend.
